Family Vacation - Part 2

Tuesday came and the guys headed out for a little golf.
yep, this would be the only picture they have from their day!!! But we were informed that the course was beautiful, packed with people and they fought gnats the entire time!!!
A great time was had by all!!!!
While the guys golfed, the girls wrangled kids, hung out at the cabin and did a little souvenir shopping.
Wednesday, was spent in the great outdoors.
I'd heard great things about Cade's Cove, so that's were we headed!
Picnic and a little stream playing!!
The only wildlife we ended up seeing were a couple of deer. Kinda bummed.
You could tell that these deer were used to cars and people because they never budged!
The butterflies were everywhere!!!!!! And were HUGE!!!!!
This stream water was FREEZING! Took your breath away when you first stepped in
R was a true dare devil! Wanted to be were the big kids were the whole time! When full force to the water. And even attempted leaping off the bank a few times :)
Needless to say, she gave her Daddy a heart attack on this day!
in the park we drove under 5 miles an hour, so we left the munchkin enjoy the view too!!! She loved sticking her hands out the window
Thursday was a busy one!!!!
First, we headed out early to visit the Hollywood Wax Museum

The wax museum was awesome!!!
We basically had it all to ourselves because we went so early!!!
Then we headed over to Hannahs Mirror maze :)
This house of mirrors was crazy fun!
It was hard to tell when someone was actually walking next to you or if it was just there reflection from a few feet on the other side.
Took us a good 15 minutes to find our way out!
talk about motion sickness!!!!! You can't tell from the photo, but this tunnel spun and was lit with multi-colored dots. Completely made you feel like you were either going to fall or lose you breakfast!
While the big kids went on another ride, which R was too young for, she entertained herself...with herself :)
So much fun!!!
We took a short break for lunch then we all headed over to Wonder Works and then to Wonder of Flights!

R girl was pooped!!
I was a little scared of this! Tethered by strings 400 feet in the air. NOT one of my dreams.
But now at least I can mark a hot air balloon off my bucket list.
R on the other hand, didn't flinch. And totally tried sticking her head through the net a few times to see below :)
Later we adults (+ R) got all dolled up and headed out to dinner :)
Our Chef and G had a little food catching show going down :)
And poor Fred got pelted in the eye :(
