As little R gets older all of the Holidays get A LOT better!

Last year I remember her crawling through the lawn while inspecting the Easter bunny from a safe distance!

Gnawing on the first Easter egg she could reach while intently watching the bigger kids run furiously through the yard gathering the remaining!!!

 (OMG!!! I miss this chubby baby stage!!!)

 

This year she spent her time at the water table, getting drenched of course, and playing kickball with the much older kids. Girlfriend can hold her own :)

She stood behind the orange tape with Daddy just like all the other BIG kids and waited patiently for them to yell GO!!!

 

 But after that she bolted to every egg that was near :)

Eventually ditching the basket and loading them up in her tiny arms!

It seriously was the cutest thing! 



After all was said and done, she was pretty proud. Then rewarded herself for her mass efforts with her very first Starburst!!!

PLUS, she has totally mastered the CHEESE face!!!

Our little ham is the cutest on the block!

When we first arrived she was greeted by the Easter Bunny, but made it perfectly clear to stay at a safe distance!

But after being bribed with a bunny sucker she let us take a picture BUT Mommy had to join!

Compromising is the key here :)

 

Then cookie decorating commenced!

And was a hit!

Lastly, Easter goodies were carefully inspected!!

 

 

At the end of the day, we had a fantastic time!

R became more comfortable and it turned out that she had a blast!

This little Angel from God sure does make every single moment so much sweeter!
